The Division of Financial Services at Kansas State University was looking for a way to display incoming tasks from Decisions, their workflow platform. Our team decided to display the tasks inside Connect, K-State’s interactive dashboard of campus services. We transformed the existing e-mail widget into an “inbox” widget that could display incoming messages from multiple sources: Office 365 e-mail and Decisions tasks. I designed the new widget and wrote the front-end code.
